Every little thing about them.
Their birthday, their shoe size, the thing they mentioned wanting in March, what you already gave them last year. Dote keeps it all in one place and reminds you two weeks before it matters.
Coming to the App Store for iPhone.
You know these things. You just forget them at the wrong moment.
Not because you don't care — because a birthday is eleven months away right up until it's tomorrow.
Reminded 14 days ahead
Early enough to actually do something. Birthdays, anniversaries, and any date you invent yourself.
Sizes, converted
Shoe, clothing, ring. Save one and Dote shows the EU, US, UK, JP and CN equivalents, so an overseas order stops being a guess.
A gift brief, not a list
When the reminder lands, open it and see what they like, what they're allergic to, what they mentioned wanting — and what you gave them last time.
Private on purpose
Face ID on the whole vault, and people you can hide completely. Notifications say who and when, never what.
Everyone in one list, sorted by what's next.
Whoever's date is closest sits at the top with the days counted down. No feed, no badges, nothing asking for attention — you open it when a reminder tells you to.
Add as little as a name. Everything else can wait until you remember it.
Your notes never leave your control.
There is no Dote account, because there is no Dote server holding your data. Everything lives on your iPhone, and syncs — if you want it to — through your own iCloud, which only you can read.
No analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier, no tracking prompt. Nothing to opt out of, because nothing is collected.
Free to try, paid when it sticks

Questions
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no email, no password. You open the app and start typing.
What happens when I get a new phone?
Sign in to the same iCloud account and the vault syncs across on its own. You can also move it by hand with the JSON export.
Will the notification show what I bought?
Never. A reminder says whose date it is and how far away it is. Sizes, preferences, and wishlists are not in the notification, not in search, and not in the home-screen widget.
Can I hide someone?
Yes. A hidden person doesn't appear in the list, in search, or in notifications until you switch them back on for the session. Combined with the Face ID lock, a surprise stays a surprise.
Does it use AI?
Not in the first release. When AI-assisted capture ships it will be optional, and the privacy policy will say exactly what leaves the device before it does.
